The Regenerative Clinic

What treatments does Jorja Healthcare Regenerative Treatments offer?

Micro-fragmented Fat Injections (MFAT)

This day case treatment is exclusively offered to our patients. It uses pioneering technology using your body’s own adipose (fat) cells to treat pain and inflammation with MFAT Injections. These Injections are minimally invasive and are carried out under ultrasound guidance. Altogether the procedure takes about an hour to perform with minimal recovery time. As well as being a potential alternative to surgery, MFAT Injections can also aid post-surgery recovery.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

This is an effective and well-researched therapy that takes advantage of the blood’s natural healing properties to reduce pain and improve joint function. It uses a specially concentrated blend of platelets prepared from your own blood to repair damaged cartilage, tendons, ligaments, muscle and bone. Treatment is administered via an injection and depending on the injury two to three injections may be required, performed at weekly intervals.

Bone Marrow Aspirates Concentrate (BMAC)

Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC) is a non-surgical, minimally invasive, regenerative treatment that harnesses the natural ability to heal the body through the assistance of biological growth factors. BMAC utilises the regenerative stem cells collected from bone marrow to aid in the acceleration of healing moderate to severe osteoarthritis and tendon injuries.

Tenex

The Tenex® system relieves the symptoms of chronic tendon pain and soft-tissue injuries caused by prolonged, repetitive trauma and calcification within the joint area. This procedure is a non-surgical alternative that utilises high-frequency vibrations and a specialised tool to remove accumulated scar tissue or calcified tissue (a process where calcium is built up in the tissue, causing it to harden). The removal of calcified or scar tissue promotes the restoration of mobility and blood circulation, encouraging the formation and regrowth of healthy tissue.
During your procedure, an ultrasound is performed to precisely locate the scar tissue. After sterilisation, a small incision is made and the specialised probe is inserted. The needle-like tip of this probe vibrates very rapidly, producing ultrasonic energy, resulting in the breakdown of damaged tissue, while healthy tissue retains its integrity. As damaged tissue breaks down, a suction system within the probe works to remove it from your body. Once the damaged tissue has been removed, the probe is removed and your clinician will close the incision with a plaster.
The duration of the Tenex® procedure is approximately 30 minutes, and the recovery time is relatively short due to the minimally invasive nature of the procedure.

Arthrosamid

The overall safety profile of the hydrogel has been established over the last 20 years with its use in various indications in the body. Arthrosamid® is a new type of treatment injected into the knee to help treat the pain caused by osteoarthritis, offering an alternative to currently available therapies. Arthrosamid has been shown to cushion the joint, reduce pain and decrease stiffness to help improve the function of the knee. Unlike other treatments, it integrates with the synovial membrane and thickens the synovial fluid surrounding the knee joint, improving lubrication, and providing cushioning. The result is reduced knee pain, providing safe and sustained relief in a single injection.

They strive to provide the safest and most effective treatments for patients which at times mean you may require traditional surgery.

Our consultants can perform complex reconstructive surgery from correcting limb deformities and carrying out pioneering techniques in sports injury repair and degenerative disease.

Working with London’s most prestigious private hospitals which offer the highest standards of complex care and state of art facilities, we are dedicated to ensuring our patients have a seamless journey with the best health results.

We offer but don’t limit ourselves to joint arthroscopies, tendon/ muscle reconstructions and repairs and joint replacements.

We are here for you at every step of your healthcare journey.
