Can you describe your symptoms of Urinary Stress Incontinence? 

I started to notice about a year ago when I was running that I had a urine leakage and also if I had been drinking a lot of water or if I sneezed I could feel that I had a leakage and that’s how it all started.

How long have you been suffering from your gynaecological issues and how did it effect your day to day life? 

I have been suffering with my issues for about 1 year now and it has effected my daily life in that it was stressful, for example if I had to run for the tube, if I had been drinking a lot of water or coffee I could feel that I was leaking. If I wanted to play sports I couldn’t do that without wearing a pad.

How did you hear about The Regenerative Clinic and the Lipogems® treatment? 

I first heard about the treatment through my colleague Ms. Jeannie Yoon who has just come back from a conference in Milan, she was very excited about this treatment and thought it could be life changing for Women which is when I decided to open up to her about the problems I had been having and asked her if I would be a good candidate.

Who was your Gynaecologist for this treatment and would you recommend her to others?

My gynaecologist for this treatment was Ms. Jeannie Yoon and I would highly recommend her, she has been very good throughout.

How was your experience with The Regenerative Clinic team pre and post procedure? 

My experience with the team both pre and post procedure has been very good, they are a very nice and friendly team, very helpful and easy to get in touch with so it has all been very positive.

How was your experience with the clinical team on your day of treatment? Who did you meet before hand and what were they like? 

I met with my anaesthetist, my gynaecologist and my pre-assessment nurse. They were all very friendly and explained what would happen spoke to me about the procedure, they made me feel very calm and not worried.

How did you feel over the initial 2-3 days post Lipogems® treatment?  

The initial 2-3 days post treatment I felt a little bit swollen not too sore, I expected it to be sore when I had to go to the toilet but I had nothing like that, I felt good.

How soon did you start to feel the benefits of the treatment?

I would say I started to feel the benefits 2-3 weeks after the procedure and then it has continued to improve.

How do you feel now? What changes have you experienced since having the treatment?

Now it is about 3 months post procedure and I feel much better, I don’t have any leakage, I can run to the tube without being worried, I feel great and I think it will continue to improve, I feel very positive.

How has treatment affected your emotional wellbeing? 

The treatment has effected my emotional wellbeing in a very positive way for example in an intimate relationship it has given me more confidence, has made me feel more attractive, this treatment has worked as a real booster.

Have you tried any other treatments in the past, if so what?  

I have tried radio-frequency in the past which did not help me.

Would you recommend this treatment to friends and family? 

Yes I would highly recommend this treatment to family and friends.
