Anil Daniel Prasad is a sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a vast experience, in the UAE (Dubai) and UK evaluating and treating patients with injuries stemming from simple or complex sports and musculoskeletal injuries.
Anil’s interest and success lie in the treatment of chronic tendon, muscle, ligament and joint pain. His treatment approach combines a thorough clinical examination along with patient education, manual therapy, and exercise prescription to not just treat but prevent injury recurrences.
Anil utilizes MSK Ultrasound Scan to aid the diagnostic and treatment process. He also has specialised in Shockwave Therapy (focus/radial) for treating conditions like chronic tendon injuries and bone pathologies (calcific shoulder, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, lateral hip pain , MTSS and knee OA).
Anil has also served as an individual player physiotherapist for ATP tennis player, PSA squash player and cyclist. He has also worked as a Team Physio for the UAE Polo Team .
Anil has been the Director of Player medical services at World Tennis League in Dubai 2022.
Anil is very active within the professional development/educational programmes. He has been honoured as a guest speaker at various health conferences.
A keen runner himself, Anil has a passion for treating running related injuries.
