Abstract

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are multi potent cells with potential reparative properties for connective tissues, such as articular cartilage. The Lipogem adipose graft harvest system is a relatively novel technique for harvesting adipose-derived MSCs and may be utilised in conjunction with various orthopaedic sports medicine procedures.
