What we test
Low levels of Vitamin B12 or B9 (commonly called folate) can cause deficiency anaemia when a lack of vitamin B12 or folate causes the body to produce abnormally large red blood cells that cannot function properly.
Ferritin is a protein that contains iron. If you have a low count, you might not be absorbing iron from your food or you might have anaemia – a red blood cell condition where they’re just not enough of them.
Vitamin D is a critical nutrient for bones, skin, hair and sleep. Lack of vitamin D can lead to osteoporosis, broken bones, hair loss and premature ageing.
