Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaeologist
Appointed as a Consultant at St.Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospitals in 2000 and as Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London in 2007.
Prior to consultant appointment he undertook four years of research and subspecialty training in feto-maternal medicine/gynaecological ultrasound as a lecturer at St.Bartholomew’s and Royal London Medical School, based at Homerton Hospital.
Mr Aquilina runs a one stop Menstrual Disorders Clinic at Barts and is recognised as a preceptor for training in gynaecological scanning by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and has been the Editor for Women’s Health Section of Current Opinion in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, since 2004 Mr Aquilina offers a one-stop service for the diagnosis and treatment of Menstrual Disorders, Polycystic ovaries and Pelvic pain.
His special interests include: menstrual disorders / problem bleeding, polycystic ovaries (PCOS), pelvic pain, HRT.
