The regenerative powers of Lipogems can also be used as an effective anti-ageing treatment. Adipose cells are harvested, treated and injected into the facial area by an expert Plastic Surgeon, to regenerate and restore volume that has been lost due to the ageing process.
Lipogems (adipose tissue) can be used to treat:
- Lines and wrinkles
- Refresh ageing skin
- To perform a non-surgical facelift
A combined procedure
Some patients who have Lipogems treatment for joint rejuvenation opt to use some of the additional fat harvested for facial rejuvenation. This treatment can be done at the same time (in one procedure) and allows patients to utilise all the harvested and treated fat. This is an increasingly popular combined procedure at The Regenerative Clinic.
To see if you would be a good candidate for this treatment we offer a complimentary consultation where you can discuss treatment options with a leading Plastic Surgeon who is an expert in facial rejuvenation using this new and exciting aesthetic technique.

Lipogems for facial rejuvenation
Liopgems facial rejuvenation uses adipose tissue, high concentrations of which can be found in the capillaries within body fat.
The treatment involves extracting the tissue with a small amount of liposuction, usually extracting from the abdomen. The fat is then treated to help isolate the cells which are then re-injected to create volume, while the cells work to create new blood cells which help to keep the fat alive and prevent it from being absorbed, creating longer lasting natural results.
The treatment can be used as a non-surgical facelift, by injecting the fat into the face into the areas which have damaged skin or little fat. The injected fat creates more volume, younger and more youthful look.
As a wrinkle treatment, Lipogems treatment creates more natural looking results than treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers. The body usually re-accepts its own cells without any side effects.
The treatment can help to fill in fine lines and repair the skin, which is damaged due to age and sun exposure.
Some patients may opt to have more liposuction performed for aesthetic reason. This can be discussed with your Plastic Surgeon at Consultation. The liposuction may be performed under general or local anaesthetic, depending on how much fat is being removed.
Facial rejuvenation can be also effectively achieved using PRP serum platelet rich plasma.
The original Vampire Facelift® is achievable combining the use of fillers with PRP serum. The fillers provide an instant fill or volume correction and the PRP immediately initiates a skin regeneration process. Patients can see and feel the effects immediately as their skin becomes smoother and firmer.
The filler products we use in conjunction with the PRP serum are Restylane or Juvederm Ultra Plus. Both are hyaluronic acids. The use of PRP with fillers prolongs the effective filler correction for three to six months longer than when fillers are used alone.
Within the field of cosmetic plastic surgery, stem cell use has garnered much acclaim in recent years for being a safe, reliable and effective method for enhancing one’s aesthetic appeal with the added advantage of using the patients own cells.
