What we test
Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) plays an important role in growth, puberty and reproduction. A high FSH might indicate a low number of viable reproductive eggs.
HGH – Human growth hormone or HGH is vital for cell regeneration and cell growth. It helps build, repair and maintain your tissues. Low levels may lead to feelings of tiredness or depression.
PRL or Prolactin is a hormone that helps with the creation of breast milk. High levels might mean you have issues with your pituitary gland.
Cortisol is made by your adrenal gland. If your levels are too low, you might be having issues with your pituitary or adrenal gland. This might display as symptoms of tiredness, dizziness, weight loss, mood shifts and weakness.
While found at higher levels in men, women still produce testosterone. If these levels are low, you might feel less sex drive, low motivation, weight gain, depression and less motivation for daily tasks.
The luteinizing hormone (LH) controls the menstrual cycle. It can detect pregnancy and high levels may explain infertility related to polycystic ovary syndrome.
