The Regenerative Lab are now approved for compulsory Government Day 2 and Day 8 Covid-19 PCR and Rapid Antigen Testing. We are proud to be one of the few private providers on the government website with our own in house lab and PCR machines. This means that we have control of your test through every stage, from the first swab to the results.

Your test result/Fit to Fly certificate will be issued via email, please check your spam/junk and if not received please email diagnostics@theregenerativeclinic.co.uk.

The Regenerative Clinic are a private testing provider listed on the Government website. It is important you check the latest Government guidelines on latest rules on travel into England.

Please check the Government website for the latest rules on travel into England. Travelling from a non-red list country if you are double vaccinated will require only a day 2 RT-PCR test.

Please select your day 0 as the appointment date. Your tests kits will be posted to your address in time for your day 2 test.

Make sure your patient details are correct as this information is used on the result certificate.

Use the pre-paid returns postage bags enclosed to post your kits back to our laboratory. You will receive your results within 48 hours of us receiving your sample.

What type of International Arrivals Covid-19 test do I need?

The government has simplified their traffic light system (green, amber, and red countries) into red countries and non-red countries. 8 destinations have been removed from the red list including Turkey and Pakistan, so please check the government website for the most recent information before booking.

If you are travelling from a Non-Red Country and you are double vaccinated:

  • Take a PCR test on or before Day 2 after your return to the UK
  • Complete a UK Passenger Locator Form on arrival or within 48 hours of arrival
  • Have proof that you have been fully vaccinated and your final dose of vaccine was received at least 14 full days before the day you arrive in the UK

If you are travelling from a Non-Red Country and you are NOT double vaccinated:

  • Take a PCR test on or before Day 2 after your return to the UK
  • Take a PCR test on or before Day 8 after your return to the UK
  • Complete a UK Passenger Locator Form on arrival or within 48 hours of arrival
  • self-isolate at home, or at the address that put on your Passenger Locator Form where you are staying in the UK, for 10 days
  • Take a pre-departure test
  • You may also book a Day 5 Test to Release test, however, this is optional

If you are travelling from a Red Country:

  • Take a PCR test on or before Day 2 after your return to the UK
  • Take a PCR test on or before Day 8 after your return to the UK
  • Quarantine for 10 days in a hotel after your return to the UK
  • Complete a Passenger Locator Form
  • Take a pre-departure test

How do I book a Day 2 and Day 8 travel tests?​

You can book your Day 2 and Day 8 travel test package on our online booking portal. The date you select needs to be the date of your arrival into England (you can choose any time slot), this is your day 0.  It’s important you complete all mandatory fields on the booking form otherwise your appointment won’t be confirmed.

You will receive a booking confirmation email with testing information and a separate automated email including your unique booking ID. You should receive this email within 30 minutes of your appointment booking, it can often go into your spam folder, if you don’t receive it please call our customer service team on 020 3637 5566.

If you have ordered your test kit to be delivered to your home after your booking is confirmed you will receive your Covid-19 test kits in the post to the address provided. On day 2 (and day 8 if needed) of your quarantine, you conduct a swab sample (using instructions provided) and post it back to our laboratory. Each kit comes with a free postage return label to make this as stress-free as possible.

Once your samples have been processed you will receive a digital results certificate outlining the test you have had and results concluded.

If you have chosen to have your Day 2 test in-clinic, please come into your selected location at the time you have chosen to have your swab taken. Once your samples have been processed you will receive a digital results certificate outlining the test you have had and results concluded.

What types of Day 2 Tests do you offer? ​

We are offering Day 2 only tests in-clinic or posted to your home. If you are close to one of our locations or prefer not to rely on the post, you can come into one of our many clinics and take your Day 2 Test. If you live in a more remote area or have a large group getting tested and would rather do it from the comfort of your own home, we are offering Day 2 Tests posted to your home. Both kinds of tests guarantee results in 48 hours.

What do I need to do before I travel?​

Have a negative Covid-19 PCR result within the 3 days before travel

Book a Travel Test for tests on Day 2/Day 2 and Day 8 of your quarantine

Complete a passenger locator form (details of where you will be quarantining on arrival) – we provide a unique booking reference number to put on this form.

When does my quarantine start?​

Your quarantine starts the day you arrive in England – and ends 10 days after the day you arrived. You may only use public transport if you have no other option. If you have symptoms do not travel by public transport.

If you are arriving from a non-red list country and you’re double vaccinated, you may not have to quarantine. Please check the government website for updated information on this.

Before Your Day 2 Covid-19 PCR Test​

Before your test:

Don’t use any nasal sprays or put anything in your nose for 24 hours before your appointment.

For 1 hour before, avoid any salty or acidic foods, alcohol, coffee, smoking, inhalants or mouthwash.

For your test (in-clinic only):

Please bring a form of identification with you.

Remember to wear a mask to your appointment and ensure that you have been symptom free for the last 14 days.

Please do not arrive early for your appointment and note that we won’t allow anyone else in with you.

How can I get a same day Covid-19 PCR test and results?​

We are a laboratory in Central London with 15 testing clinics across the country offering same day Covid-19 PCR test results. We have an in-house laboratory testing facility that is CQC compliant.

We control the whole client pathway from swab to result meaning we can provide same day test results. We have in-house PCR analysis machines with a team of technicians working around the clock. This means that we have more control over our pathway and can guarantee on time results for all clients.
